“My name is mia defabio and i am a hairstylist + razor cutter.”
Im a third-generation hairstylist, born and raised in the Hudson Valley, NY. With deep roots in the industry and a lifelong connection to the craft, I’ve developed a style that’s grounded in razor cutting, extensions, and lived-in, effortless color. Razor work is at the heart of what I do, it creates a meditative connection between hands, tool, and hair, allowing for freedom, structure, and intentionality in every cut.
In early 2022, Blurred Lines was born as an educational platform, a way for me to share my knowledge, explore new ideas, and connect with other artists beyond the traditional salon setting. It was a space for learning, growth, and pushing boundaries.
Today, Blurred Lines has evolved into my private studio—where education, artistry, and behind the chair work come together under one roof. It’s a true reflection of who I am and what I stand for: conscious cutting, creativity, empowerment, and community.
